RFP - Flow Regime: An Ecological Restoration Strategy |
Applied Ecological Services will monitor the effectiveness of stormwater treatment trains in improving water quality and flow during and after construction. AES will construct Stormwater Treatment Train -- vegetated swales that convey runoff, wetlands that remove nutrients and sediment, and sedimentation basins and stages release outlets at three developments in southeast Wisconsin. The project will evaluate the ecological impacts of, and costs associated with, three watershed sensitive developments and compare them to pre- and post-development conditions and traditional residential developments. |
